SPQ Retail Limited were formed in 2014 to provide IT solutions and services to the retail industry.
In just two years we have worked with retailers such as Travis Perkins, Reiss, Arsenal, and G-Star RAW not to mention a number of reputable partners, such as Optomany.
Our directors have over three decades of experience implementing retail solutions for the likes of B&Q, Chanel, Spurs, River Island, and internationally renowned companies such as Selfridges, Harrods and McDonalds. They have also helped implement companies based overseas, such as Gant (Sweden) and O’Reilly Auto Parts (USA). Our vision is to deliver the next-generation end-to-end, omni-channel store solution.

What does SPQ stand for?
Originally SPQRetail was a play on SPQR standing for Sen?tus Populus Que R?m?nus and bringing in our international connections.
More recently we have realised that ITT and RFI documents often generate false expectations with no fault on either the supplier’s or customer’s side. We have therefore realised that SPQ actually stands for Scope, Plan and Quote.
We scope the project, we plan the project, and the quote is borne as an accurate reflection of the effort required.
This meets the expectations of the customer because the scope document communicates the supplier’s understanding of the customer’s requirement and has to be written off before the project commences.
Development can be an agile scrum but the project is a phased waterfall.
